Raytown and
recently at the Sweet Life at Rosehill Assisted Living Center of
Shawnee, Ks, passed away peacefully September 10, 2006, with his
family by his side. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m.
Wednesday, September 13, with services following at 2:00 p.m. at
Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Burial
following at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Fleming was born January 8, 1925 in Kansas
City, MO. He was a life long member of Local #27, and served
in the Army Air Crops during WWII. His siter, Anna Wingerg,
precedes him in death. Mr. Fleming is survived by his wife of
58 years, Dorothy; son's Michael Fleming of Fairway, Kansas, and
Doug Fleming and his wife Sheila of Richmond, Virginia, and two
granddaughters, Meredith and Allyson Fleming, both of Richmond,
Virginia, and brother William Fleming of Lee's Summit. Flowers
may be delivered to the chapel, or memorial contributions can be
made to the American Heart Association. The family appreciates
all of the excellent care and support that David received while a
resident at The Sweet Life at Rosehill. Arr, Floral Hills
