Paul D. Fenner

69, of Richmond, Mo., died on Sunday, July 27, 2008, at his home in Richmond. Paul was born July 12, 1939, in Waverly, Mo., to Edward and Blanche (Salyer) Fenner. He married Sandra Clark of Richmond on Nov. 10, 1962; she survives of the home. Additional survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Dawn Fenner of Parkville, Mo., and Chris and Laura Fenner of Olathe, Kan.; one half-brother, Bobby Reed of Lexington; and seven grandchildren, Payton, Cole and Caleb Fenner and Madeline, Thomas, Stephanie and Rachel Fenner. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by one brother, D.E. Fenner Paul had worked as an Insulator for the Heat and Frost Insulator and Asbestos Workers Union Local #27 in Kansas City, Mo. He was also the Director of Maintenance at the Quarterage Hotel in Kansas City. He was a member of the Richmond First Christian Church. He had lived in the Lexington before moving to Richmond in 1965. He was a 1957 graduate of Lexington High School. He also attended CMSU and MU. He was a former Richmond City Councilman. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond First Christian Presbyterian Church. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, at 7 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
Paul was a member of the mortuary fund.
